Who doesn’t love Costco? Better yet, who doesn’t love Costco’s food court? I know, I’m weird, but I’m sure many of you can agree with me that Costco’s food court is ah-mazing and so wallet friendly! Honestly, some days when Jason and I are in the area and it’s near lunchtime, we stop in for their $1.50 hot dog and soda (w/free refills!). You can’t forget about the churros!! Those long, sugary fried dough sticks that are only $1 and it’s like over a foot long. So good.

I was doing my regular blog reading this past weekend and came across a recipe for churro cookies. Churro cookies? Yeah, a rendition of the fried dough sticks but in cookie form. I thought, I definitely have to give these a try!

I’ll be honest, though, I was disappointed in these. It’s nothing against the creator or anything, it’s just personally to me, I would’ve preferred the Costco fried dough over these cookies. To me, they’re just like snickerdoodle cookies in a more buttery form. Why did I decide to post these even though I was disappointed? Well, I can’t post everything that’s awesome and great. I have to post some stuff that I don’t really like to show everyone that errors in cooking are okay and not everyone is perfect every time! You don’t have to love every dish you make and they don’t have to look great either (I mean, c’mon, my churro cookies above look pathetic).

Anyway, maybe you can make these better than I did, or you can just settle and make the drive to Costco for $1 foot long churros :)
