The BISTRO Electric French Press Coffee Maker combines the press-a-button drip system with the rich coffee taste only a French press can produce. After all, hot water is all it takes – now you just don’t need to boil it separately. Just simply fill the water tank with fresh, cold water and add ground coffee into the glass jug. Bodum contacted me and asked if I’d like to review one of their new Electric French Press Coffee Makers. How could I turn down making amazing tasting coffee in the comfort of my own home? And the fact that it came in red, it matches all my other kitchen utensils and electronics too! How fitting.
I’d have to say that this little machine was wonderful. It was so effortless. I just put my water in the reservoir, coffee grounds in the glass jug, press a button, and the machine did the work. All I had to do was plunge the little plunger thing to keep the coffee grinds down and then my coffee was ready to be poured! There is a heating element at the bottom that kept my coffee nice and warm so I could come back for more after my first mug-ful :) Jason loved this too. A different kind of Bodum French press was on our wedding registry, but this electric one was even better! Thank you, Bodum :)
