New Features on Table for Two

I finally bit the bullet and incorporated ZipList on the blog! I know there are several food bloggers that have already done this and some of you have asked me for it. Honestly, I was holding off on ZipList for a while because I didn’t want to go back to all my recipes to add the “save” button but I did it! And I hope this means better usability with my blog than ever before :)

I teamed up with the team of ZipList to help make this possible. They power recipe boxes and shopping lists behind MarthaStewart.com, Pepperidgefarm.com, and now, Table for Two!! I love that it’s easy for you and me to share recipes. You can save recipes off any one of these sites, including mine, and it’ll be in one place!. You won’t have to spend hours trying to remember where you saw that one recipe you wanted to cook. There’s also a ZipList mobile app for iOS and Android so you can take all your recipes shopping with you!

To access your online recipe box, meal planner, shopping list, or grocery deals, all you have to do is hover over “Recipe Box” in the top navigation tab and click on one of the items in the menu (see photo above).

My new recipe layout also now has a ZipList save button in addition to my pre-existing printer friendly button. If you’re still a paper recipe kinda person, you can simply press “Print” and a printer friendly version will pop-up (make sure pop-up blocker is disabled) and you can print that off. However, if you want to utilize the ZipList feature, simply press “Save” and ZipList will take care of the rest, as long as you have an account there. Simple, right?

I hope this addition to my blog will help you utilize my blog more and helps simplify your life :) Let me know what you think!

CONGRATS on getting through converting all of the recipes. I know from experience what a mammoth task that is (and I didn’t have nearly the number to deal with that you did!) Thanks for taking the time to do this for the ease of your readers.

  4. Yay!! I’ve actually been working on transferring all of my recipes over to Ziplist too! I have like 200+ recipes so hopefully I’ll get it done by mid Jan… I’m not gonna lie, it takes some time but I think it’s totally worth it!

As a reader and user of ziplist, thank you!! I love having all my favorite blogs recipes in one place, especially when i’m stopping at the store or sending my husband on the way home from work.

Greetings! I’m a SUPER new food blogger and have been reading your tips and this one is amazing! I’ll admit I don’t even have my first post up yet since I just started said blog this very morning but I’d LOVE to have this on my blog because i’m real recipe oriented. I also meal plan bi-weekly so this would come in real handy! My question is, do I need to be a food blogger veteran to partner with ziplist or can I partner from the get go?
    Thanks for the help!

I’m probably not the best person to ask about this since Ziplist was the one that approached me. You could probably hop on over to their site and email them!
