2016 Holiday Gift Guide: For the Cooks

2016 Holiday Gift Guide for the Cooks from Table for Two

I’ve put together a quick holiday gift guide for you before Cyber Monday! I’m sure there will be some awesome deals to snag up (some have already begun) so I hope this guide will help you shop for those cooks, bakers, and kitchen lovers in your life! These are some of my most favorite things I personally have and use in the kitchen; some on a daily basis! Although some are pricey; they are definitely worth the investment as they are all high quality and will last you a lifetime of use.

Be sure to check back here for more gift guides through the coming weeks! I’ve got a ton of ideas to help you with your holiday shopping!

Vitamix Pro 750 Heritage Blender – this baby is a workhorse. Super powerful yet quiet. I use it for so many things in the kitchen. Pestos, smoothies, soups, making flours, nut butters – you name it! This is what all restaurant chefs use in their kitchen and it is made to last.

Hedley & Bennett aprons – high quality aprons that are handmade in the U.S.A.

Instant Pot – I recently bought this when Amazon had it has their deal of the day and I have a feeling it’s going to have a permanent placement on my countertop. I love that you can sauté in it, cook rice, pressure cook, steam, and more in it! It’s really an all-in-one machine.

Le Crueset Everyday Pan – you need a great heavy duty pan in the kitchen and Le Creuset is high quality cast iron that will last a lifetime. I have two of their dutch ovens and I need to get my paws on this everyday pan. I can see myself using it A LOT.

Breville Barista Espresso Maker – I talk about our espresso maker ALL.THE.TIME. We balked at the price tag but this machine has paid for itself over and over again. We use it every single morning and we love that you can choose your favorite espresso beans to use with it since it comes with its own grinder. It looks super stylish on the countertop too!

Anova Culinary Sous Vide – for those cooks who love to experiment in the kitchen! I bought this for Jason as an anniversary gift this year and he loves it. It makes the most tender and juicy steaks and he recently made spare ribs with this and I literally beg him to make it at least once a month. They are fall off the bone delicious and there are so many recipes you can experiment with this machine. It’s easy to store too.

Hammered Measuring Spoons – you always need measuring spoons in the kitchen and I love these gold hammered ones!

Copper-Plate Measuring Cups – like you need measuring spoons, you need measuring cups! These copper-colored ones would be great as props, too.

Dishtowels – my favorite dishtowels are from Anthropologie. They’re all so cute and vibrant.

Global Santoku Knife – you need a good knife in the kitchen. It seriously makes ALL the difference. My favorite knife to use is a Santoku knife, like this one.

KitchenAid Stand Mixer – if you do any sort of baking, you’re gonna want a stand mixer to help you out. I LOVE this copper one but they also come in numerous other colors and sizes!

Epicurean Cutting Board – like you need a good knife in the kitchen, you need a good cutting board that won’t dull your knives and one that will last. All my cutting boards are Epicurean cutting boards and they really make a difference.

GIR Spatula – I swear this is on my holiday gift guides every year because I love these spatulas. I have all the sizes, in numerous colors, and they’re the only spatulas I use.

Chemex – if you don’t want to invest in an espresso machine and you want really good coffee, this Chemex pour-over coffee maker is for those coffee snobs lovers that must have a good cup in the morning!

Dinner for Two cookbook – how could I not tell you to pick up a copy of my cookbook?! ;)

Lexi’s Clean Kitchen cookbook – quite possibly one of my favorite cookbooks this year from my sweet friend, Lexi. I love all the healthy recipes in this book and it’s thick and every recipe has a photo! Grab a copy or two and have some clean/healthy cooking in the New Year!

Skinnytaste Fast and Slow cookbook – I recently got this book and really love the comforting meals in this that can be made quickly but also have a ton of flavor and not overly unhealthy. So many great slow cooker ideas in here too!
