    Big Ben | London

I really really miss London. There’s so much character and charm in that city. I definitely want to return someday and explore the city some more. We were there for three days and I think another two days would’ve been perfect. We definitely saw everything we wanted to see on our list but there’s so much more to explore. Once you get into the heart of the city, you realize there are so many nooks and so many other places you can spend time in to take it all in. I can’t WAIT to share with you all everything we did and let you download our itinerary so you can take the same route or hit up the restaurants we ate at!

I haven’t been reading as much lately cause I’ve just been too dang busy BUT I did get to read this new one. Can’t Let You Go, the final Katie Parker book, was released last month and you know how much I love the series. I tore through this book in a day and it gives really good closure on Charlie & Katie’s relationship :) it’s been fun reading this series and watching Katie grow up. I love the snark and sarcasm of the author and I was laugh out loud laughing throughout most parts, too. If you haven’t read the other books in the series, I highly recommend them. I pretty much begged you to in this post.

    • Are you freaking out about all this Ebola news? I totally am since I live and work in a very populous area (hello – nation’s capital) and travel is very heavy here. Ack, this is totally freaking me out. I swear the CDC is just covering everything up and lying to us. I won’t be surprised if the CDC director resigns after this whole ordeal.
    • We’re behind on so many TV shows! We just caught up on Scandal but we’re still behind on How to Get Away with Murder and The Voice. I didn’t realize The Voice is already done with blind auditions and they’re already competing. Ahh no one tell me what’s happening! :)
    • On our flight back from London, I watched three movies! I watched The Other Woman, Maleficent, and Divergent (haha for the billionth time). The Other Woman was hysterical. I was cracking up! Cheaters never win :) I had really wanted to see Maleficent in theaters but never got the chance to and I was so happy to see it as a movie selection on our flight. It’s really nice to hear the story from the villain and main character’s POV instead of the heroine. It was refreshing. Have you seen any of the movies I listed? I highly recommend seeing The Other Woman if you want to laugh at someone’s expense.
    • Virgin Atlantic – there’s a BAR on the plane. And you get free alcoholic drinks the whole flight and you get fed REAL food. Not like cafeteria crappy food. We enjoyed every bite of our meal. I bet you can’t say that about your airplane food! Unless you’ve flown international airlines. I swear the American carriers need to pick up their slack. I’ll totally pay a bit more for an international carrier just because the amenities are 10 times better.

I get to share with you my exciting news next week so stay tuned!! Eek :)

Hi there! I stumbled across your blog on Bloglovin’ and had to say hi, becaise I live in London and it’s always so exciting to me when people visit and have a great time. I hope you do get to come back soon – I’ve lived here for eight years and I still have loads of places I haven’t explored yet, so I completely understand that feeling.

Look forward to reading your post to see what you did and what you saw and (most importantly!) where you ate :)
