    1. Pretending to play drums but getting a workout from it: how awesome does this new workout look?! They need to bring this to DC. I’m all about trying new things, haha
    2. If you saw me on Snapchat yesterday, I was prepping dinner so I gave Winston a rawhide bone to chew in the living room. All of a sudden he comes running into the kitchen and I’m like, “what’s up, buddy?” and he just stared at me. Then I’m like, wait a second..where is his bone? Umm, I legit don’t know where his bone went. Jason says he buried it somewhere in the house (he has tried to before between seat cushions) but I’m thinking he swallowed it. Like maybe there was a little tiny piece left and he just swallowed it? I DON’T KNOW. I’m literally freaking out cause I don’t want another vet visit for like perforated stomach or intestine. UGH.
    3. Any restaurant recommendations for Atlanta? I know there’s gotta be some good stuff there! Thank you in advance!

    1. I have to go out of town next week for work. It’s like the one thing I’m dreading the most. I don’t want to leave the husband or puppy :( it’s crazy how life before puppy I would’ve been so excited to leave town but now I’m always bummed about it.
    2. I bought this water bottle recently and I’m obsessed with how it ‘changes’ colors due to its iridescence. So fun to look at and keeps liquids the same temperature for HOURS! Cold liquids stay cold for 24 hours and hot liquids stay hot for 12 hours!
    3. It’s gonna be may.

Tons of great food options in Atlanta! It’s definitely a foodie town, which is why I love living here. :-) Here are some of my favorites: JCT Kitchen & Bar (located in Westside Provisions District); Revival (technically in Decatur, but worth it!); The Optimist; Canoe (in Vinings; Fantastic view & service); South City Kitchen; Holeman & Finch; The General Muir, and so many others!

    • Julie says:

Thanks so much!! Hopefully I can get to some of these. I’ve been to South City Kitchen before and it was amazing!

    Neat water bottle!

Hi Julie – long time reader here! Couldn’t help but want to pass this on when I read about Winston and the rawhide bone… Check out Nylabones. http://www.nylabone.com/ They are perfect, and safe, for all dogs, big or small. It’s the only type of bone I will give to my dogs (labs). They have everything from play toys to regular old chewing bones. I made the switch to nylabones after one of my dogs swallowed a rawhide and it caused tears in the stomach. They were fine in the end, but I never wanted that to happen again.

    • Julie says:

We have like three nylabones and he only chews on the one our trainer told us to get in his crate. All other times he really doesn’t like it, haha :) thank you again!

Don’t worry about the raw hide! When our Corgi was a puppy he used to swallow them after he would get it down to a small piece and it never hurt him. We did stop giving them to him until he got older though, just in case. I’m sure Winston is fine :-)

    • Julie says:

Thanks for the reassurance :) I freaked out a little too much but he’s had so many issues so I’m super paranoid now! He did end up being fine, haha!

  • Gabbie says:

I’ve lived in Atlanta all of my life and there are tones of great restaurants, but here are a few of my favorites:

-Holeman & Finch for an incredible burger
-Muss & Turners (especially their brunch)
    -Fat Matt’s for BBQ
    -Sublime Donuts
    -Blue Ridge Grill
-Bones (make sure to try the ice cream cake)

    • Julie says:

Ahh thank you so much!! Hopefully I can get to some of these!

  • Brittany says:

Hankook Taqueria (1341 Collier Rd. Atlanta, GA 30318)
It’s a total hole in the wall kind of place & it’s sooooooo good! I love the shrimp taco & sesame fries.

    • Julie says:

      Thank you!!!

  • Tracy says:

Be careful about the rawhide bones. Our vet told us to quit giving to our dogs. I used to have a min-pin (he’s at the Rainbow Bridge now) and he would swallow them and like an hour later would throw the whole thing up and he kept choking on them. Just be careful with them.

    • Julie says:

Thank you for the concern! We’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on him! So scary.
