There are so many meal delivery services out there. How do you even end up choosing one? To help you, I’m sharing with you Green Chef brand today and give you a little insight on what Green Chef is, who they are, and what meal plans they have!

Now, before you think that I’m touting Green Chef because I got paid to say this stuff…I will throw out this disclaimer: yes, I did get paid, however, everything I’m about to say is our own opinion. Prior to Green Chef reaching out, we have purchased a Green Chef box previously. In fact, it was back in April during our first week in the new home. With all the moving, unpacking, and everything going on, the last thing I wanted to do was go grocery shopping let alone think of healthy meals to make. I had previously heard of Green Chef through the tv and online advertisements. What really struck me about Green Chef is that they’re an USDA-certified organic meal kit service.

With all the pesticides and chemicals these days, eating organic (when possible) is at the top of my list. Green Chef makes it really easy for me. Their certified organic ingredients that have no GMOs, synthetic pesticides, antibiotics, growth hormones, or steroids.

What has intrigued me the most about Green Chef is the different meal plans they have and how you can easily choose what fits into your lifestyle. I honestly wish Green Chef was around when I was doing my paleo challenge. This would have made dinners (and life) so much less stressful and easier. Their meals generally take less than 30 minutes to make, with some maybe a little longer but I’m willing to sacrifice time for great tasting food. Green Chef offers a range of meal plans: Paleo, Gluten-Free, Vegan, and more. Additionally, they recently just launched their brand new Keto Meal Plan, which is the box I received and the one I will be sharing with you all today!

I have heard so much about Keto recently. It has very similar qualities to Paleo. A bunch of people at work are currently on the Keto diet with great results. I personally have not tried doing it myself but if it’s anything close to what Paleo is, I’d be willing to give it a shot!

Now, this Keto box that I received, you totally don’t have to be on a ketogenic lifestyle to try out this box. You could be wanting to add delicious variety to your dinner mix, or if you are simply ket-curious; this is a great box for anybody!

The first meal I chose to make from my Green Chef Keto meal plan box was the Cajun Cod. The designer in me LOVES that all the ingredients are color-coded TO the recipe card. So, for example, the Cajun Cod recipe you see above is colored blue. You find all the blue stickers on your pre-portioned and pre-chopped ingredients and pull them all out of your fridge. It’s seriously so easy to be able to spot this quickly in your fridge and grab the right ingredients without even having to read the recipe card for what ingredients are on there. Seriously, this is probably one of my favorite things that Green Chef does.

Additionally, on the recipe cards, they offer step-by-step instructions, chef tips, and photos! You want to be able to know what you’re doing! Just like me, below, haha

All the meals we tried in our Green Chef Keto box were phenomenal. And I don’t say that very often with meal kit services. The flavors were explosive and we literally gobbled down every meal. The portions were perfectly generous. I’ve had other meal kit services with measly amounts of protein and a lack of veggies. Green Chef definitely did not have anything lacking. In fact, we always felt that it was more than enough and we were always stuffed at the end of our meal.
