It’s been awhile since I’ve talked to you about my cookbook, huh?

Well, the day has finally come! I’m talking all about my upcoming cookbook, Dinner for Two! I’m thrilled to share with you some sneak peek photos of recipes included in the book and most importantly, pre-order details!

Dinner for Two is my first cookbook. Over the course of the past year, I’ve spent weekends developing, testing, and writing the recipes that you will see in Dinner for Two. My thought-process for this cookbook is very similar to how the recipes you’re familiar with on my blog, except that these are specifically for two! I wanted to create meals that were quick and easy but also flavorful. I wanted these recipes to wow and to be something that you could make over and over again. My husband and I work full-time so a big part of my goal with this book was to make the recipes easy enough that you can make them along with busy schedules.

The recipes

There are 70 brand new recipes in this book. There are a handful of good ole blog favorites revamped for two but 90% of the book is brand new recipes that you’ve never seen before and for servings of two! There are 50 dinner entrees and 20 breakfast for dinner entrees. You will absolutely love cooking out of this – I just know it! This book is perfect for newlyweds, empty-nesters, college students, couples, families with young kids, and more! Sure, this book is written for two but all the recipes can be easily doubled or tripled to suit your needs!

There’s a bunch of variety in the book: slow cooker, one-pot, salads, soups, skillet dinners, pizza, pastas, international, and breakfast for dinner! There is really something for everyone :)

What’s the Difference?

As you peruse the cookbook section on Amazon or any other bookstore you’re probably wondering what makes DINNER FOR TWO different than all the other ‘for two’ cookbooks out there? Well, number one thing I can tell you is that my recipes are quick and easy for couples with busy lives. Meaning, I designed my recipes with Jason and I (and YOU!) in mind. Every recipe went through the, “could Jason and I make this after work?” thought process. Many of these recipes are not time intensive and many of these recipes require less than an hour of total prep and cook time! :) can I get a HECK YES?!

I love pre-ordering books because there have been many times where I’ve pre-ordered something, and its shown up on my doorstep way before the release date. How fun would that be for you to get it before the actual release date?! Also, if you want a signed copy, I’m trying to think of how to get that to happen. Book tour?! Local book signing?! Would you send me your copy with a return envelope for me to sign and return back to you?! I’d love some ideas!

  1. Do you have a recipe for cauliflower bread. I have high sugar and with most flour or corn product go to my belly. I try to eat low fat, low carb, low salt and the sugar less then 5 grams or less. Zero is perfect. I eat the wrong thing and I gain 5lbs. I am also 4’9″ so as you may know it doesnt take much for me to be uncomfortable. Have you considered a cook book just for people like me

    1. Sorry, I have not considered such thing as I do not cook like this on the regular and do not have the experience for that.
