Well, as most of you all know, I got married on 4/27/2013. I want to take this moment & share a snippet of it with y’all. Hope you don’t mind this minor food interruption! :)

It was a gorgeous Spring day – I honestly could not have prayed for better weather. It was a sunny 70 degrees with a light breeze. There was no sweating (except for killin’ it on the dance floor!) and no sweaters/jackets to be worn. It really was perfection.

This was the absolute happiest day of my life. I loved every second of it. To be surrounded by family and friends, some that traveled thousands of miles, is one of life’s greatest blessings.

To our parents – we wouldn’t be here today without your love & support. Thank you for making this day possible.

To each and every one of my family and friends – we love you and we are so beyond blessed & happy that you all got to be apart of our special day.

To all my blog friends who sent gifts & cards & well wishes – wow! Y’all amaze me every day and I love this blogging community. Everyone is so generous, supportive, and loving.

Everything was perfect – down to the tiniest detail I planned out. It’s really crazy. Over a year’s worth of planning – & it’s over in a blink of an eye.  It’s so cliche but it is so very true!

You all have followed along with the wedding details – now that it’s happened & come to life (and ended) – what do you think?!

Thank you for sharing, Julie! Your photographs are stunning! My favorite? The dip with the kiss, of course! And, everything was beautiful…the day, your dress, your flowers, the cake (even the table!) and most of all, your smile…and HIS! May you and your hubby have a blessed new life together. xoxo

Gorgeous! My wedding gown two years ago was very similar and we did a deep purple color as well. <3

I have to tell you a couple of things:
    1. I JUST started following you after trying out your Holy Yum chicken recipe on my fiance- which he LOVED.
    2. I had booked a videographer as a surprise wedding gift to my fiance since we had not included it in our budget and after all the planning was complete, he told me that in his culture, weddings are ALWAYS recorded.
    3. I JUST found out yesterday that the videography I booked was a scam, and I probably lost my whole deposit. BUMMER.
    4. When I started looking again for videography in Fairfax, I found Michael Brazda Films, and his work was so good and prices were so reasonable that I started a google-fest to make sure he was a real company/person/business (see number 3).
    5. My frenzied google-search brought me RIGHT back to tablefortwoblog, where I discovered that I can get my new recipes and my wedding vendor reassurances from the same place!

Long, long comment just to say THANK YOU! This “small world moment” brought my pre-wedding panic from a 10 to a 0 because now I can book Michael Brazda with 100% confidence! Hopefully everything is smooth sailing from here!

Wow, Elyse! That’s crazy! I’m so sorry you got scammed but Michael is awesome and so is his team! I hope you love him.

If you’re interested, here is my wedding highlights video: and this is the shorter, 3 minute version (a music video): to get an idea of his work :)

I’m so glad you found my blog and my wedding post!! Congrats and have fun on your big day! xo
