  • 2 frozen puff pastry sheets, cut into thirds
  • 3 large granny smith apples sliced into 1/4-inch thick half moon shapes
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salted caramel sauce for drizzling

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking sheets.
  • Layer the apple slices on top of the pastry sheets. They can overlap each other, it's ok.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  • Gently sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top of the apples.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the puff pastries are slightly golden.
  • Let rest for 10 minutes then generously drizzle salted caramel on top of the tarts.
  • Serve immediately.

These are best day of and would not keep well for the next day.
