With a sharp knife, cut off the tops of the garlic bulbs; just enough to expose all cloves.
Place 1 bulb on a small sheet of aluminum foil. Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle salt on top. Wrap tightly and repeat with the remaining bulb.
Place wrapped bulbs on a small baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and once cool enough to touch, squeeze out the cloves of garlic into a bowl and reserve for whatever dishes you may want to add additional flavor to!
