1cup(237g)crushed chocolate toffee candy barsuch as Heath (plus a couple tablespoons to sprinkle over the top, optional)
Instructions
Prepare a 9x13 inch casserole dish by greasing with oil or butter.
In a large pot, combine the marshmallows and butter. Over medium heat melt the butter and marshmallows, stirring continuously until they are almost all melted (it is OK and actually good to still have some lumps at this point.)
Remove from heat, mix in the brown sugar, salt, and oats, stir to combine. Before they get too hard to stir, add in the toffee bits, but be sure to do this last.
Put the mixture into the prepared dish and very lightly press down.
Sprinkle more crushed toffee bar on top (optional).
Cool completely, then cut pieces into desired size. Store in an airtight container.
Notes
Spray your knife with a little oil before cutting the treats, it will help prevent them from sticking to your knife.
