½cup(120g)plain kefir(or you can use plain greek yogurt)
1-2tablespoonsmaple syrup
2cups(162g)old-fashioned oats
Instructions
In a blender, blend together cherries, almond milk, vanilla extract, kefir, and maple syrup until smooth.
Pour into a large bowl then add oats. Mix together then cover and place into the refrigerator overnight.
Prior to eating, stir to incorporate.
Notes
Please note the active time in the kitchen prepping this recipe is only 15 minutes. However, the idle time of sitting in the refrigerator overnight is approximately eight hours — which gives you a total prep time of eight hours. Don't be alarmed by the time above :)Feel free to add any of your favorite toppings on top! I added some crushed hazelnuts.If you find the mixture too thick the next day, you can add more almond milk to it and mix it in.You can eat this chilled or warmed up in the microwave.
