What Are Polenta Fries?

These crispy polenta strips are infused with parmesan cheese and seasoned with salt and pepper, making them a great and healthier alternative to french fries!

Simple Ingredients

You'll only need quick-cooking polenta and a few other ingredients to make this easy recipe. Let's get started!

Boil the Polenta

Boil 2 cups of water. Whisk in the polenta, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Simmer

Reduce to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes. Then stir in the parmesan cheese.

Let It Chill

Spread the cooked polenta into an 8×8” pan lined with parchment paper and refrigerate to set.

Cut the Polenta

Preheat the oven to 425˚F and cut the polenta into 12-14 fries about 1/2 inch thick.

Bake

Arrange the fries on the prepared baking sheet, brush both sides with olive oil, and bake for 15 minutes.

Flip

Flip and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

Serve

Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
