Perfectly cooked and extra crispy on the outside while tender and juicy on the inside! These quick and easy air fryer chicken nuggets are going to satisfy all ages!
1 ½pounds(680g)boneless skinless chicken breastscubed into 1" cubes
1egg
1cup(60g)panko breadcrumbs
¼cup(31g)all-purpose flour
¼cup(25g)grated parmesan cheese
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
1teaspoonkosher salt
1teaspoondried parsley
½teaspoonsmoked paprika
½teaspoononion powder
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoonground black pepper
Instructions
Preheat air fryer (if possible) for 5 minutes at 400 degrees.
Whisk together egg in a medium bowl then add the cubed chicken. Stir to coat all the chicken in the egg mixture.
In a large plastic container (with a lid), add panko, parmesan cheese, flour, and all the seasonings. Whisk together.
Add the egg covered chicken to the plastic container then close the lid and shake until breading has coated the chicken evenly.
Arrange the chicken in an even layer in the air fryer basket then air fry at 400 °F (204 °C) for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through. You will likely have to do this in two batches.
Repeat until all chicken nuggets have been cooked.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, BBQ sauce, or hot sauce.
