Instructions
Lay some parchment paper out on a counter or on a large baking pan and set aside.
Melt the butter in a medium pot over medium heat.
8 tablespoons butter
Add the marshmallows, salt and vanilla extract and stir to coat.
8 cups mini marshmallows,
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract or imitation vanilla flavor,
1/8 teaspoon salt
Stir continuously until the marshmallows have melted down completely.
Remove from the heat and add in the food coloring and stir to combine. Add more coloring if you like.
1 ½- 2 teaspoons green food coloring
Stir in the frosted flakes and until they are all coated.
5 cups frosted flakes cereal
Let the mixture cool slightly, until you can comfortably handle it.
Add 2-inch balls of the marshmallow mixture to the parchment paper and form a well in the center to form a wreath.
Repeat the process with the remaining marshmallow mixture.
Add three berries to the bottoms of the wreaths and let them cool completely before serving.
½-¾ cup cinnamon Red Hots candy
