Spicy Korean Pork Pizza

Italy meets Korea. This spicy Korean pork pizza is a flavor bomb and one pizza you will be glad you made!

Equipment

Ingredients 

  • 1 pizza dough recipe room temperature
  • ¾ pounds (340 g) ground pork
  • 3 tablespoons gochujang sauce divided
  • ½ cup (123 g) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup (112 g) shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
  • Kimchi

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 500 °F (260 °C). Roll out your dough on a lightly floured 9-inch pizza pan. Gently stretch it and pull it to fit the 9-inch pizza pan. Set aside.

  • In a skillet, brown ground pork and break apart into smaller pieces. Add 2 tablespoons of gochujang sauce and season with salt and pepper.
    ¾ pounds ground pork, 2 tablespoons gochujang sauce
  • In a small bowl, mix together marinara sauce and the remaining gochujang sauce. Spread in an even, thin layer onto the pizza dough.
    1/2 cup marinara sauce, 1 tablespoons gochujang sauce
  • Add the cheese then the ground pork mixture.
    1 cup shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes then top with kimchi prior to serving.
