Frozen Mint Julep
This is a frozen twist on the traditional mint julep! Made with a homemade mint syrup and bourbon it's an incredibly refreshing cocktail perfect for this season!

Instructions
Prepare the mint simple syrup according to recipe instructions. Let it cool down completely.
¾ cup mint simple syrup
Prepare the frozen mint julep. Add the mint syrup, bourbon and ice to the glass of a blender. Process until smooth.
¾ cup bourbon,
5 cups ice
Pour into glasses and garnish with mint sprigs.
Notes
You can refrigerate the syrup for up to a week so you can double or triple the batch to have enough on hand for a second round of cocktails.
