You’ll want to watch this video tutorial on how to peel peaches ’cause I’ve officially dubbed it ‘peach week’ on Table for Two! The 3 recipes I’m posting this week all require you to peel and slice peaches and I figured we start with a quick tutorial on how to do it, if you don’t know how already!
Note: in the video, I kept the pits in the peaches. I typically just cut around the pit. You can definitely pull them out of the peaches but I sometimes find them lodged in there!

I have always peeled peaches this way but cutting them before the boiling water is just, well.. smart. Cutting afterward and I’m chasing peaches all over the counter. :)
Can’t believe I never knew how to peel peaches until now! This is so helpful since I have been trying to come up with some good peach recipe and just found a dessert that calls for peeled peaches. Perfect timing!
