I dyed my hair bright pink this weekend and I’m freaking obsessed with it. It’s not my whole head ’cause I’m pretty sure work would not appreciate me showing up with pink hair…rather it’s a peek-a-boo so it’s under my top layer of hair and it peeks through and it’s so freaking cool. You can see me show it off on Snapchat (tablefortwoblog) and the layers and everything. Gah, this is going to be such an expensive upkeep but I’m absolutely in love with it that I’m willing to spend the $$ for it…at least for the time being. We’ll see how long this will last, lol
Oh, and speaking of dying my hair this weekend, I couldn’t wash it for 48 hours so I finally tried dry shampoo! I never really understood it or the hype behind it until this past weekend. It’s so convenient and it works pretty well! My Target didn’t have the brand everyone told me to buy (Batiste) so I ended up with Not Your Mother’s and Dove since it was on sale. I’m going to buy the tropical scent from Batiste on Amazon because when Amanda used it in Bali, she smelled like coconuts and you know how I feel about coconut scented products! Anyway, call me a new dry shampoo fan! Although, how often should you use it vs. washing your hair? I was reading online that if you use it too much there could be product buildup and I definitely don’t want that. Would I be able to get away with using it two or three times a week and then washing my hair on the third day? I’m such a newbie at this. Gimme your dry shampoo tips :)
Stuffed breakfast peppers! A fun new way of delivering breakfast to your face. Right?! They don’t take any longer to whip up than regular breakfast on weekends so you might as well get fancy and make these! I filled mine with all-natural breakfast sausage links because who doesn’t want some delicious protein in their breakfast peppers? I like that they’re all-natural and they’re a nice protein for me to whip up for breakfast on the go. Many mornings before work, I’d throw some patties or links in the skillet and scramble up some eggs and bring them to work with me. When I have time on the weekends, I like whipping up stuffed breakfast peppers :) give them a try, I promise you’ll love them and you’ll find many other ways to stuff the peppers!
Stuffed Breakfast Peppers
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil,, divided
- 3 large bell peppers, cut in half, cored and seeds removed
- 1 tablespoon water
- ¼ cup (40 g) red onion,, finely diced
- 1 package Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Golden Brown Breakfast Sausage Links,, sliced (find which local stores carry Jones Dairy Farm near you!), 5-7oz
- 1 cup (96 g) sliced mushrooms
- 5 large eggs
- 1 cup (30 g) loosely packed baby spinach leaves
- Salt and pepper,, to taste

That dry shampoo sounds awesome! I’ve never been a fan of the smell of the one we have but we’ve only had to use it in a pinch so I didn’t care, but now I want that one…. and some of these stuffed peppers because i”m starrrrving.
So…I stuff peppers all the time for dinner but literally never thought to do it for breakfast. Duh. In love with this!
