Many nights, right before bed, Jason and I will excitedly say to each other, “I can’t wait until tomorrow morning. Why? Because coffee in the morning.” Haha we are seriously obsessed with coffee. We have been told we have some serious coffee love because we have almost every contraption out there to make coffee.
We have:
1. A regular coffee maker,
2. A Chemex,
3. A burr grinder,
4. An espresso machine,
5. And we recently just got rid of our Keurig to give to my parents.
When we move to our new house, we have a designated ‘section’ in the kitchen that is going to be designed as our ‘coffee nook.’
Yup, to say we love coffee is an understatement!
You know what else is an understatement? Mint in coffee. If you’ve never had mint in coffee before, you are MISSING OUT.
My new favorite drink is this iced mint latte. Oh my gosh you guys. It is the most refreshing iced drink ever and I am 100% obsessed with it. It doesn’t ruin the taste/flavor of coffee but somehow accentuates it. You taste the cooling mint at the end of your giant sip and it’s super refreshing.
I made a batch of my mint vanilla simple syrup and added two teaspoons to my latte and I’m in minty heaven! You will be too :)
Minty fresh every morning!

Totally love this one! We have a standard plug in drip, a Chemex, an Alessi stove top (Aldo Rossi) and a stove top milk steamer! Never got into the Keurig – took the fun out of the process.
About the recipe, this is a must try! Thanks for the good stuff!
OK….have been stalking your blog since you posted the mint vanilla syrup with the tease of an upcoming recipe to use it. I made the syrup immediately and have added it to iced tea which I adore. I will so be doing this in the morning! I keep cold brew coffee on hand all summer so will be using that. I may have to use milk instead of almond milk (what I typically use in my morning iced coffee latte) lately have been using the coconut/almond blend. That may be too many flavors going on! Thank you for sharing.
I hope you enjoyed your coffee this morning! Cold brew on hand all summer is a MUST!
