If you love Moscow mules, you will love this tropical version. I recently fell in love with Moscow mules (where have I been?!) and it goes down far too easily, haha…I go crazy over them lately and instead of spending loads of money at the bar (I swear I don’t go that often), I wanted to make it at home! But I also wanted to make it slightly different because it’s fun to mix things up a little!
This tropical version is like a fruitier version and I can just see myself sipping on this sitting on the beach or perhaps, more realistically…my backyard. It’s so refreshing and who doesn’t love a little bit of tropical paradise in your mouth?
I partnered with Wholesome Organic Stevia to make this cocktail. It’s the perfect addition because you get all the delicious sweetness without the bitter aftertaste! It also has zero calories and no glycemic impact — which is fantastic because I know you’re going to want more than one glass of this tropical moscow mule!
I’m a huge fan, too, because I can easily lighten up recipes and drinks with Wholesome Organic Stevia. You can too by picking up some Wholesome Organic Stevia at your local grocery store! In fact, here’s a coupon for Wholesome Organic Stevia. However, if you prefer to purchase online, you can too here.
No guilt in enjoying this deliciously awesome cocktail!
I’m pretty sure you can safely say that this cocktail will be on the top of my summer cocktail list in addition to my strawberry rosé mint limeade!!
Let’s go to a tropical paradise!
Tropical Moscow Mule
Ingredients
- ½ cup (118 ml) pineapple juice
- Juice of 1 lime, about 2-3 tablespoons
- ½ teaspoon Wholesome Organic Stevia
- 2 ounces (57 ml) coconut-flavored rum
- Splash of ginger beer
Instructions
- Add pineapple juice, lime juice, Wholesome Organic Stevia, rum and ice into a shaker then shake until all incorporated. Divide evenly into glasses or mugs and top with ginger beer.
- Garnish with fresh fruit or mint leaves (optional).
Fyi this would be a dark and stormy, not a moscow mule as it uses rum instead of vodka.
Loving the use of all that summer fruit!!
Yum!! Moscow Mules are one of my faves so I could only imagine how refreshing this must taste!!
Sounds refreshing! What a great cocktail for summer!
Dying over these! Need to try!
