Strawberry limeade is a delightful and refreshing beverage that combines the sweetness of frozen strawberries with the tangy kick of frozen margarita mixers. This zesty concoction is made easily by blending all the ingredients together resulting in a vibrant and invigorating drink that is perfect for hot summer days or any time you crave a burst of fruity goodness. This is the perfect drink to serve at pool parties, beach vacations, or any other time that calls for a fruity cocktail.

Also, it’s WAY cheaper to make your own drinks at home rather than going out to a bar. And besides, who really wants to fight the summer crowds anyways? Stay home and pinch a penny when you make these easy 4 ingredient cocktails. You can make them as boozy as you want without having to pay for an extra shot, which is always a win!

Why You’ll Love This

  • Summertime cool-down. With its icy texture and vibrant flavors, frozen strawberry limeade is an ideal thirst-quencher during the scorching summer months. Sipping on a chilled glass of this fruity elixir is like experiencing a mini tropical getaway, offering a break from the heat and a burst of natural refreshment.
  • Fruity bliss. If you’re a fan of strawberries, you’re in for a treat! Frozen strawberry limeade celebrates summer with the best summer fruit: strawberries. This frozen cocktail is infused with their sweetness and the addition of the tangy margarita mixer is the delightful contrast this drink needs! It balances sweetness and a burst of citrusy tang.
  • Easy and customizable. Making strawberry limeade is a breeze, and it allows for endless possibilities to tailor the recipe to your liking. You can adjust the sweetness level by adding more or less sugar, swap out sweeteners like honey or agave syrup, or even experiment with additional ingredients like fresh mint or a splash of sparkling water. You can also make this alcohol-free for a great frozen mocktail. The versatility of this recipe ensures that you can personalize it to suit your taste preferences and create a truly unique and satisfying beverage experience for all!

Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • Bacardi Margarita Mixers – You should be able to find these at your local grocery store!
  • Frozen Strawberries – You can use fresh ones if they’re in season, but you’ll need to freeze them prior to blending.
  • Water – Use the margarita mix can to measure the water so you get the most flavor.
  • Rum – Omit the rum entirely to make this a non-alcoholic drink. It’s delicious either way!

Recipe Tips, Substitutions, and Variations

  • White or dark rum? I like to use white rum when I make this drink. It’s more light bodied than dark rum and has an almost sweeter taste that pairs well with the fruity flavors here.
  • Use a high-powered blender, if possible. A high-powered blender like a Vitamix or Ninja will cut right through all the frozen ingredients in this recipe without struggling or burning out the motor.
  • Flavor add-ins. Experiment with a variety of berries to create a mixed berry limeade. Blend in raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries along with the strawberries for a colorful and flavorful twist. Add some mint or even a splash of coconut water for an exotic twist.
